We The Board and Management of Audio Visual Rights Society (AVRS), Nigeria’s sole collective management organization for cinematography films and audiovisual works sympathies with the family of Anyiam Osigwe on the passing of their dear daughter, Peace Anyiam Osigwe to eternal rest.

Peace Anyiam Osigwe who in the creative industries is known as Queen of Nollywood is the founder of the prestigious Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA). A trailblazer of no mean repute.

Our dear Peace who joined the host of heaven on Monday, January 9, 2023 at St. Nicolas Hospital, Lagos, will greatly be missed.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Members of the Audio Visual Rights of Nigeria (AVRS) have expressed their satisfaction and pleasure at the achievements the organisation had recorded since its approval by the Federal Government as the sole Collective Management Organisation for cinematograph films. 

6TH AVRS AGM HOLDS ON NOVEMBER 10, 2022

Preparations have been concluded for the 6th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Nigeria’s sole copyright collective management organization for audiovisual works and cinematograph films, Audio Visual Rights Society Ltd/Gte. (AVRS), which is scheduled to hold on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 10.30AM.
